The Welling & Crossley ED14.5KYE/3 14.5kVA Three Phase Standby Diesel Generator is a reliable diesel backup power solution designed for sites that require dependable three phase power during a mains outage. Supplied as a fully integrated Welling & Crossley power generation system, the ED14.5KYE/3 includes a remote start/stop control system, 90 litre diesel fuel tank, auto-start control module, and weather protective acoustic canopy. This makes it a practical choice for rural properties, farms, workshops, commercial sites, light industrial applications, pumps, machinery, and essential equipment requiring reliable 415V three phase standby power.

The weather protective acoustic canopy helps protect the generating set from the elements while reducing operating noise to approximately 70 dB(A) at 1 metre, or 63 dB(A) at 7 metres. The complete generator is mounted on a heavy duty fabricated steel base frame, with anti-vibration pads fitted between the engine, alternator, and base frame to help isolate vibration and support smoother operation.

For safer and more practical diesel storage on site, the ED14.5KYE/3 includes a fully bunded fuel tank compliant with AS 1940-2004, providing secondary containment designed to retain and recover spillage if required. A trickle charge battery charger is also fitted to help ensure the generator is ready to start when needed.

The standard auto-start control module supports local or remote starting and provides key monitoring and protection functions, including alternator frequency and speed sensing, generator/load power monitoring, accumulated power monitoring, generator overload protection, fuel and start outputs, engine speed protection, run-time scheduling, battery voltage monitoring, and static battery charging. It can also be configured to operate with an Automatic Transfer Switch for automatic standby power applications.
