The Welling & Crossley ED10.5KYE-400-LB 10.5kVA Single Phase Standby Diesel Generator is a fully integrated diesel backup power solution designed for applications where reliable standby power, extended fuel capacity, and protection against light-load running issues are important. Powered by a proven Kubota V1505-E2BG diesel engine and matched with a Crossley SLG series single bearing, 4-pole brushless alternator, this generator is built to deliver dependable performance across residential, rural, commercial, workshop, and light industrial environments.

This model includes a large 400 litre bunded diesel fuel tank and an integrated load bank, making it a practical option for sites where the generator may run for extended periods or where electrical demand can vary. The load bank automatically applies an artificial load when site loads are light, helping reduce the likelihood of engine glazing and supporting optimal engine performance.

Supplied complete with a remote start/stop control system, auto-start control module, weather protective acoustic canopy, and heavy duty fabricated steel base frame, the ED10.5KYE-400-LB is designed as a complete standby power package. The acoustic canopy helps protect the generator from the elements while reducing operating noise to approximately 73 dB(A) at 1 metre, or 65 dB(A) at 7 metres.

For safer on-site diesel storage, the generator includes a fully bunded fuel tank compliant with AS 1940-2004, providing secondary containment designed to retain and recover spillage if required. Anti-vibration pads are fitted between the engine, alternator, and base frame to help isolate vibration and support smoother operation.

The standard control system supports local or remote starting and provides key monitoring and protection functions including alternator frequency and speed sensing, generator/load power monitoring, accumulated power monitoring, overload protection, engine speed protection, run-time scheduling, battery voltage monitoring, and static battery charging. It can also be configured to operate with an Automatic Transfer Switch for automatic standby applications.
