10.5 kVA, Single Phase, Standby Diesel Generator with Kubota Engine in Canopy, 400L Tank

The Welling & Crossley ED10.5KYE-400 10.5kVA Single Phase Standby Diesel Generator is designed for customers who need dependable single phase backup power with extended on-site fuel capacity. Powered by a proven Kubota V1505-E2BG diesel engine and matched with a Crossley SLG series single bearing, 4-pole brushless alternator, this generator is built to provide reliable standby performance for residential, rural, commercial, workshop, and light industrial applications.

This model includes a large 400 litre bunded diesel fuel tank, making it a practical choice for sites where longer standby runtime and reduced refuelling frequency are important. Supplied as a complete Welling & Crossley power generation system, the ED10.5KYE-400 also includes a remote start/stop control system, auto-start control module, weather protective acoustic canopy, and heavy duty base frame.

The weather protective acoustic canopy helps protect the generator from the elements while reducing operating noise to approximately 73 dB(A) at 1 metre, or 65 dB(A) at 7 metres. The complete generating set is mounted on a heavy duty fabricated steel base frame, with anti-vibration pads fitted between the engine, alternator, and frame to help isolate vibration and support smoother operation.

For safer diesel storage on site, the ED10.5KYE-400 includes a fully bunded fuel tank compliant with AS 1940-2004, providing secondary containment designed to help retain and recover spillage if required. A trickle charge battery charger is also fitted to help ensure the generator is ready to start when needed.

The standard auto-start control module supports local or remote starting and provides key monitoring and protection functions, including alternator frequency and speed sensing, generator/load power monitoring, accumulated power monitoring, generator overload protection, fuel and start outputs, engine speed protection, run-time scheduling, battery voltage monitoring, and static battery charging. It can also be configured to operate with an Automatic Transfer Switch for automatic standby power applications.
